"Dogs do not live long enough . I think this is their only fault."

With Liza, the cocker spaniel 6 years old with Liza, the Cocker We live with our nine Golden Retrievers in the outskirts of Budapest, next to a nice forest. I have always had dogs since I was born, and I will always have some. My parents bred English Cocker Spaniels for many years, my love for dogs comes from here.

I got my first own dog when I was 10 years old, it was a Toy Poodle dog. He went over the rainbow bridge after 12 years, I miss him a lot even today.

I tried to compensate the loss and looked for a nice breed for myself. I chose the Golden retriever because of their beautiful, elegant appearance, and very nice character, and that choice has remained a love for life.

After a long search, I bought my first Golden, Kevin from a very nice My first two Goldens, Hugi and Kevinbreeder. I started attending a dog school with my naughty boy, who was developing nicely, then we visited the first dog show of our life. Getting enthusiastic about the success, I got involved in the dog scene more and more, show after show, and soon, I found myself looking for breeders to get further dogs from.

I carefully chose my new dogs: Hugi, Émike, Jeles and my first two own-bred girls: Baby and Mandarin. All of them proved my hopes: they have become kind, devoted friends, who are successful at the shows, too.

In the autumn and wintertime we are participating in hunts for the greatest pleasure of my dogs.

Öcsi and Emi in Switzerland On the way home with Öcsi and EmiMy third own-bred girl is Mezi (HJCH Shining Gold Wonder Wanda), sired by the Dutch import CH Nice'n Easy of the Morning Valley. Mezi has everything I dreamt about: she is very good at the work and also has a beautiful conformation with nice golden coloured coat. We are so satisfied with Mezi that we decided to keep another girl from Nice, Jasmine (Shining Gold My Little Jasmine) and we hope she will have the same quality as her sister, Mezi.

In the autumn of 2007 Kevin has been suddenly passed away and while we were totally shocked by losing our best friend, we had to start to find our new boy... after a long search, we finally chose our new boy from the French Feelgood Lazaryzou kennel. We took home Öcsike (Feelgood Lazaryzou Della Scalla Shining Gold) with high hopes but mother nature had a different opinion so we lost Öcsike at the age of only 11 weeks after a 24 hour long desperate fight...

Hyper and Happy playing at the fieldAt the beginning of 2009 we went to Belgium to get our newest boy, Hyper (Fine Art Rudgieri Hyperion). Hyper is a wonderful little guy with fantastic character - see him soon in the show rings :)

At the Summer of 2009, the 4th generation of Shining Gold Golden Retrievers were born: a litter from our Mezi (HJCH Shining Gold WOnder Wanda) sired by the Belgian CH Amigoh.

We have kept a girl, Mantra (Shining Gold Midnight Princess) from this litter. We hope she will fulfill our high expectations and her quality will prove that we are walking on the right way with our breeding decisions.

At the Spring of 2011, it was time for a very special girl to arrive to our kennel. She is Lola (Galansgoldens Glamour of Ice), born from the frozen sperm of the very famous ICH Karvin Basic Instinct (1995-2005). Lola is a beautiful, very intelligent little girl, we hope she will add great value to or breedings.

Mantra és Henna Mantra and Henna - the first apport :)The fruit of my work is when I see that the dogs I have bred perform well in the dog shows and working trials. But the greatest pleasure for me is to know that they live in families when they are loved and they can love their owners.

Dogs from my kennel lives in various countries of the world, including the Dominic Republic, Ibiza, Germany, Austria, Greece and the USA.

We are really satisfied to know that our dogs are performing very well in the foreign dog shows and health tests too.

It is very important for us to keep in contact with the owners of the Mantra és Henna 4 generations of the
Shining Gold Golden Retrievers:
Hugi, Mandarin, Mézi, Mantra and Henna dogs born in my kennel. A lot of owners came back to us to change informations about our dogs and I hold a kennel meeting regularly where the dogs and people can enjoy themselves while talking about the dogs.

In the years I have been participated in a very useful kinologyst seminar and some breeder seminars. I am also a professional dog groomer.

It is a great pride for me that some of my dogs were chosen to have their pictures printed in dog books.

Mézi in Belgium Mézi at the sea in Belgium For me, health, calm and even temperament of the dogs are the most important, I think it is an extra if their confirmation is also exceptional.

Fortunately, I can keep them as family members, we make lots of excursions, we swim a lot, I would not keep dogs anyhow else. They have free access to the house, they live without kennels.

I recommend this breed only to those who can be with them enough, so they can live a happy life, which a Golden deserves.
